Okay... so it's VERY clear that my strategies in the past have not been working for me! For six years, I have lost weight from January to April, maintained my weight through the summary, and gained weight from October to December.... **sigh** every January I start about 20-30lbs heavier than the previous April. So frustrating!
So, I decided that enough is enough! I have to find a new strategy rather than doing the same thing over and over that does not work for me! Hence, my new coach, Deanna Harder!!!! She has designed me a food plan and a workout plan!
First off - I'm psyched about the workouts because, as she put it, they are "quick and dirty". AND THEY ARE! I'm literally done in 30 minutes and I'm sweating like a BEAST!
Secondly - the food plan incorporates things I normally crave - Tim Horton's mocha, chocolate and chips. This seems realistic to me.... I don't have to eat them, but I can!
Last, but not least, I have to put away my scale... Yikes, this one freaks me out. I'm afraid of not being accountable and somehow the scale keeps me accountable... That's what I need to rely on Deanna for.
I trust her (I mean look at her!) so I'm going to give this my very best shot!!!!!
